Description
Join the Lodi Valley Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance on Friday, March 14th, to venture out onto the Lodi Marsh Segment of the Ice Age Trail for a spectacular evening walking under the worm moon. We will walk up to the prairie for a good look at the moon rising in the east. The full worm moon was given its name by the Algonquin tribes from New England to Lake Superior. At the time of this spring moon the ground begins to soften and earthworm castings reappear inviting the return of robins. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing for the weather, sturdy shoes, and bring a light. A walking stick can be helpful in case of slippery conditions. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome too!
