About Us
The Grade Boat Club is the organization that places the buoys in Lake Wisconsin and the Wisconsin River under the guidance of the WI-DNR. The club welcomes members and public to attend monthly meetings. Monthly meetings are held the third Thursday of the month February through November.
Lake Wisconsin buoy installation typically occurs during the week of April 25, Wisconsin River buoy installation typically occurs mid-May; this is dependent on proper weather and water level(s). Buoy removal occurs at the end of September.
The club encourages and welcomes any boaters or watersports enthusiasts to join The Grade Boat Club to stay informed of and participate in club activities. Find information on Facebook and in the Navigation Guide available at many businesses and boat launches (in Loan-A-Vest stations) near the Lake Wisconsin area.
