Description
Join the Lodi Valley Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance on Wednesday evening, November 5th, for a leisurely hike beneath the year’s biggest and brightest full moon. Known as the Beaver Moon, this November full moon signals the season when beavers are busy preparing for winter—building their dams and lodges in anticipation of the cold months ahead.
We will meet at the Hwy 113 Trailhead on Highway 113 just south of the city of Lodi at 7:30 pm. Watch for yellow "Ice Age Trail Event" signs. For directions visit: https://goo.gl/maps/L9eWM59CLcm
Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Bring a light to help guide your way and consider a walking stick in case of slippery conditions. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the adventure.
